DWE - Doppler Wind Experiment
Overview
The Huygens Doppler Wind Experiment (DWE) was designed to measure wind speeds and directions on Titan as the Huygens Probe descended through the atmosphere. The wind profile was determined by Doppler tracking the Probe Relay Link signal from the Earth.
Data Example
Plot of zonal wind speed as a function of altitude as measured by Huygens/DWE.
