REMS Humidity Data

    REMS Humidity Data

    CERTIFIED

The REMS Humidity sensor measures both local relative humidity and sensor temperature. It is necessary to measure temperature because the humidity sensor range and accuracy change with temperature. Additionally, there may be a time lag of local humidity measurements of up to 5 minutes depending on the temperature. From this data subset, local relative humidity, sensor operating temperature and sensor confidence level are available fully-processed. However, uncertainties and actual atmospheric relative humidity data are not available.

Columns in Reduced MOD RDR files: (Local Relative Humidity, Humidity Sensor Operating Temperature, Local Relative Humidity Uncertainty Lower Bound - not available, Local Relative Humidity Uncertainty Upper Bound - not available, Atmospheric Relative Humidity - not available, Atmospheric Relative Humidity Uncertainty Upper Bound - not available, Atmospheric Relative Humidity Uncertainty Lower Bound - not available, Humidity Sensor Confidence Level

    Sol 224 Plot

The above plot displays % local relative humidity against local mean solar time taken by the REMS humidity sensor on the 224th sol of the MSL mission. Uncertainties for these data are not currently available. These data were obtained from file RME_417331939RMD02240000000_______P7.TAB
