Cassini ISS confirmed the discovery in July 2007.

This satellite orbits between Mimas and Enceladus. Is is estimated to be about 2 km in diameter with a period of revolution of 1.0365 days.

Observations were made by the Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS) on July 3, 2008.
