Janus is co-orbital with Epimetheus. A faint dust ring is associated with the two moons.
Janus has dimensions of 203x185x152.6 km with a period of revolution of 0.694660342 days. Planned flybys span the mission with close approaches on Feb 20, 2008, Jul 26, 2009 and Apr 12, 2017.
